Jenna: I've always been the good girl as well. I struggle with that sometimes when I've been made fun of for being obedient when others want to fool around and when people tell funny stories about getting in trouble.

Rose: I've been learning a lot latily about keeping faith when someone hurts you. If I can't fuel my relationship with Christ than I am not able to cope with the disappointment in the person who hurt me.

Tonya: You are so right! Leah and Rachel have a story that would make the tabloids today. There story is so full of the drama that makes up real life. You are also right about not being able to control other people. We have to focus on God and let Him deal with the other person while we work on growing in our own walks with Christ.

Jenna: I love the poem you posted! Thanks for sharing. Parts of it reminded me of Acts 17:26 where it says God determined the times and places where we should all live. I love knowing He's in the details in our lives.

Elin: You are so right. The only position that matters in life is our position before God. In Christ, we are found righteous!

Jenna, I love the poem you shared and I'm going to put it in my quote notebook! Also I love this phrase of yours: "I desperately want to serve God with complete abandon…but then I peek to see who’s looking." May I quote you on that, too, please?
Tonya, I feel as if I could completely relate to you in the fact that someone in my life is doing some crazy stuff that I don't understand and they seem so lost. Thank you for encouraging me to "control where I place my trust and hope."
I am so glad for our comments fellowship, girls!

As we're learning about Leah, i keep thinking that if something like her life happened today it would be sooo scandalous and gossiped about many people wouldn't be able to get enough of it, but since it's in the Bible it tends to be overlooked becuase the Bible is old.

These past few weeks I've learned some unexpected things.Someone in my life really disappointed and hurt me and I'm learning how to deal with events that are happening through learning about Leah and her story. Just yesterday my mom and I were talking about how sometimes we have to let people go and later in the day I was thinking about my hurt feelings and this person that seems so lost in my life. The only thing I can do is focus on God. I can't control them, their thoughts, how they feel about me, or their actions but I can control where I place my trust and hope. Seeking God is the answer to all the whys I've been asking.

I've also read the book by Lysa Terkuerst and it is great! I really hope to spend more time with it when I have the chance
